This fabric design is a hand-block printed Kalamkari on a lightweight 100% Indian cotton. "Kalamkari" is an ancient form of printing and painting in India. It involves using traditional hand carved wooden blocks for printing, and painting with organic vegetable dyes. Each color has its own block. These fabrics are printed by hand so please allow for imperfections and some inconsistencies with the look of the design. These are not flaws but rather unique traits of the artist. This exotic filigree fabric design is in colors of beige, grey and splashes of mustard against a black background.

Easy care, prewashed/preshrunk, handcrafted quality with double machine-stitched French seams for durability. Machine wash cool water, tumble dry low heat. Iron w/cotton setting. Ships to you from beautiful Mississippi.
