Topanga Canyon is a dreamy slice of woodland heaven nestled in the rolling hills outside the Los Angeles city limits, and was the quintessential "Hippie-Land" of Southern California during the late 60's and early 70's. Here artisans flourished and were inspired to create far-out music and organic jewelry handmade from ceramic/porcelain/pottery - earthy, rustic, and so bohemian! It was a section of SoCal that I loved to hang out in during the late '60's - I can still smell the incense in the air....

This beautiful charm set created by Majoyoal feels inspired by Topanga's creative energy. These artisan-made porcelain drops have been twice fired and glazed on both sides, using a relief design depicting a lotus flower as stained glass in enchanting blended shades of deep red, blue and gold. The shop owner uses only natural metallic oxides extracted from the earth to make her colors, so her glazes are not like any others being sold on Etsy.
Other components include brass findings, small caramel-colored rhyolite gemstone beads, chrysoprase gemstone beads, and beautiful artisan-made lampwork beads with swirls of complimentary colors - so cool!.. and brass French ear wires, lead and nickel free.

MEASUREMENTS: 2-3/4 inches long and about 1 inch wide - length measurement taken from top the ear wire.
